"Where does the sky end?" the class asks the teacher. "In my backyard", says one of the deaf students who, by drawing, opposes the idea of writing. At the end of the class, the boy comes home and receives a birthday present that will change the rest of his life. And so, with new looks at everyday life, with new ways of framing reality and imagination, he invents a creative way of responding to the teacher "where the sky end".
