Deafinitely Me is the story of  seven young deaf people in New South Wales, Australia. They talk about their early beginnings, and the constant struggles they have faced in all areas of their lives: home, school, work, socialization, identity, and language. They reveal the reactions and adjustments of theirs families, of society, and of their own personal exploring and determination to overcome barriers and find success.  These interviews portray a group of young deaf people from different backgrounds, with varying levels of hearing loss, and who communicate via speech and/or Australian Sign Language (Auslan).  It is a touching and honest tribute that reveals how each of the seven young people came to terms with their identity as a Deaf person.
